Join the vendors and food trucks listed below Thursday at the Statehouse Market. The market is open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the temporary location in front of the Indiana State Museum.

Jeff’s Three Things for July 14

The Bicentennial bottles of honey were so popular last week that Wildflower Ridge Honey is bring more this week. The bottles are on sale for this week only for $15 (regularly $19) and are available while supplies last Thursday, according to Pattie Barrickman with WRH. Pattie also tells me that it’s her husband Dave’s 69th birthday Thursday. She mentioned that it’s also the 69th anniversary of the Roswell UFO Incident. Stop by to say happy birthday to Dave, a beekeeper from beyond!

Check out our produce vendors like VanAntwerp’s Farm Market for great deals on tomatoes, zucchini and cucumbers. They’re the big white tent over on the Cultural Trail. Last week, I bought one of the cantaloupes from VanAntwerp’s. It was, as they say, on point. It was juicy and sweet and picked fresh that morning. Two cantaloupes this week for me! This just in: Biltz and Wilson Farm confirmed they’ll have sweet corn this week.

If you’re looking for lunch we’ve got a super lineup of food trucks. Caveman Truck is back and has Shrimp Étouffée. Duos has a Juicy Roast Beef Sandwich and a Farmers’ Market Salad. Scratchtruck returns with a Cali Cheese Steak that sounds amazing. We’ve also got three new (and yummy) trucks for this season: Pi Indy, El Venezolano Food Truck and Caplinger’s Fresh Catch Seafood Market. See you at the market!

Biltz Greenhouses – Peaches, tomatoes, blueberries,  cucumbers,  squash,  sweet corn, green beans and potatoes.
Wildflower Ridge Honey– Indiana Bicentennial Bottles of Honey on sale for $15.
VanAntwerp’s Farm – Cucumbers, tomatoes (many varieties), eggplants, zucchini, sweet peppers, green peppers, green beans, kale (likely last week) and CANTALOUPES.
Posey and Pumpkin– Now selling frozen pork and other meats. Also get flowers and other select produce.
Oberweis Dairy – Samples of milk and juices.
