Fresh strawberries from Flat Rock Farms
You’re invited to the next Statehouse Market Thursday June 6, open at 10:30 a.m. on Robert Orr Plaza and Senate Avenue. The market features plenty of options for you to eat a fresh lunch and shop for a healthy dinner. This week we have a group of produce vendors selling vegetables, fruits, flowers, milk, eggs, pork, beef and lamb.
The Statehouse Market strives to be 100 percent grower. This means that all produce you see at our market is grown by the farmers/sellers on their Indiana farms. While it might seem early in the season for some produce, keep in mind that many farmers are now using greenhouses or “hoop houses” to extend growing seasons to provide you with fresh fruits and vegetables for longer periods throughout the year.
