Buy a commemoriative bottle of Bicentennial Honey and more at the July 7 market
posted by SPD Communications on July 5, 2016 in MarketJoin the vendors and food trucks listed below Thursday at the Statehouse Market. The market is open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the temporary location in front of the Indiana State Museum.
Here are my three things to look for this week:
Indiana’s 200th birthday event is coming up on October 15, 2016. How do you plan to celebrate? I’m buying 24 ounces of pure Indiana honey in a commemorative Bicentennial bottle from Wildflower Ridge Honey. It’s available tomorrow for $15.
I got the first sweet corn of the season from Biltz Greenhouses and it was excellent. It’s the bi-colored variety and it was super sweet. Add some tomatoes, green beans and peaches from the Biltz tent and you’re set for your next cookout.
You’ve had Serendipity before? But get ready for Serendipity II Thursday at the Statehouse Market. It’s the same chef, but a different menu. Did I mention it’s all macaroni and cheese yet? Try the Classic, Indy (includes onions, corn and mushrooms), Southwestern, Thai, Mexican or Argentinian. See the menu for yourself. If I can avoid the Mac & Cheese, I might try the Thailand Shrimp Kabobs from Far-Out Fred’s or the Vegan Nachos from Nacho Mama’s (not because I’m vegan – they’re just good!)
