Market open Thursday despite cleanup from water damage at Indiana Government Center
posted by SPD Communications on June 13, 2018 in MarketAttention market patrons:
Please be aware of an ongoing issue that affects this week’s market and likely the remaining markets in June.
Due to water damage from a pipe leak that impacted the Indiana Government Center (North Building) last Friday, a portion of our market area on Robert Orr Plaza is not available for the remainder of June (June 14, June 21 and June 28). There is heavy equipment onsite from a local restoration company that is fixing the damage. We’ve worked with the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) and have secured extra space in the circle drive just north of Robert Orr Plaza, just steps away from the other vendors. In this lot we’ll park up to six food trucks. This lot is normally used for drop offs for the onsite daycare facility. The daycare is closed due to the damages from the flooding.
The map, at right, illustrates our space available. We’re still able to accommodate all of the vendors on the schedule.
Thanks for your understanding and patience. We’ll see you at the market!
