Five Questions with The Legendary Kitchen
posted by SPD Communications on May 30, 2018 in Food Truck Interview Market Specialty Vendor InterviewOriginating from a popular Franklin golf course, The Legendary Kitchen is set to bring a menu that is much more than “par for the course” to the Statehouse Market. Read on to find out more about this new addition to the market from co-owner Ashely Davidson.
Q: The Legendary Kitchen is making its Statehouse Market debut in 2018. What can visitors expect from this new addition to the market?
A: The Legendary Kitchen finds its home at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin. We are known for our hand breaded tenderloins and hand breaded chicken. We work hard to bring fresh ingredients, and we focus on quality food. It is important to us to have a clean truck and great customer service. Although we are known for many fried options, we also try and have healthy options as well. Come see us!
Q: Tenderloins, chicken and tuna sandwiches are a few everyday items for the Legendary Kitchen, but individual seasons and customer demand bring additional choices. What are some of those items, and when can customers expect them?
A: This week customers will also have a choice of a Southwest Black Quinoa and our Legendary Chicken Salad Sandwich (includes grapes and pecans). Both have become favorites of many of our customers.
Q: Do you have a personal favorite item from the Legendary Kitchen menu, and if so, what is it?
A: Of course, I love all of our products, but I would say my favorite is our spicy chicken sandwich. The sandwich has lots of flavors (not too spicy) and the addition of melted cheese makes it excellent.
Q: Who are some of the people behind the Legendary Kitchen?
A: Ted and Ashely Davidson are the owners. Ted is at the window and Ashely is at the breading station. Our Chef Deborah Fox is the one with all the recipes. She pushes food out the window and does all of the catering at The Legends.
Q: Which is better – a hole-in-one or the Legendary Kitchen’s legendary tenderloin?
A: The best part about The Legendary Kitchen is that you don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy something great from the golf course!
